Lindy’s love for children and heart for healing led her to study social work at the University of Oklahoma. She then completed her Masters in Social Work from Baylor University, where she specialized in Attachment Theory & Practice Interventions. While working toward and completing her clinical license, Lindy’s roles included the following: Contract Trauma Trainer for America’s Kids Belong, personal coaching with Tell Me Your Dreams), private practice counseling, case work for a foster care and adoption agency, foster and adoption minister at Saddleback Church, contract trauma training with Saddleback College’s Foster and Kinship Care Education Program and serves on the board of Karis Adoption Fund. In addition, she is a practitioner of Trust Based Relational Interventions (TBRI) and certified in National Adoption Mental Health Competency (NTI). Lindy currently lives in Dana Point, California with her husband Danny.
